Safety Tips and Hand Signals
FCR has published “Safety & Signals” in an attempt to make our rides as safe as possible for all participants in FCR rides. If you are not used to riding in a group, you are encouraged to read these “rules” before doing any group riding (whether with FCR or not) as they will help keep you and others around you safe.
These tips and the signals follow commonly accepted guidelines for safe group riding. Much of the information is common sense; some of it is more complicated and as such you should browse this document before participating in any group rides. Feel free to copy and use it if you are organizing your own ride.
