The Frazer Chapter will hold its monthly, first Tuesday of the month business meeting at Ming’s Garden, 1741 Eastern Boulevard (next to the Ace Bowling Center and across the boulevard from Lowes).
The official start time is 6:30. Come early for fellowship; come late for the meeting only, but come! We will be finalizing ride planning for the upcoming year, so bring your ideas…any pre-planning (distance, riding time, etc.) you can do would be appreciated.
(If weather is questionable, check www.fcr-mm.org on Saturday morning for the final weather call. If rained out, the rain date is scheduled for April 28)
Registration from 9:45-10:20 – Blessing Service begins at 10:30.
There will be a group ride to Slapout for a free pizza lunch.
This service is for all riders who would like to have a minister pray individually for them and for a safe season of riding. All sizes and types of bikes and trikes and all riders who wish to receive this blessing are welcome.
There is no registration fee. Donations will be accepted; all donations will go to the Adullam House Children’s Home.
There will be a blessing vest-pin given to each rider and passenger who participates.
FCR will take the great roads of Northeast Alabama to ride to and through Little River Canyon. We will stay overnight (Saturday night) at the beautiful facility in the Desoto State Park and return home Sunday after attending the Asbury UMC church which is located near the park.
Mike will lead us on a trek through Central Alabama to the interesting historical park at Horseshoe Bend. Time permitting, possible “added attractions” include stops in Alexander City at the old fashioned soda fountain bar at the Carlisle Drug Store and/or at the Wellborn Muscle Car Museum.
One of our more popular rides each year, Charles will once again take us on a ride where the old adage “it’s not about the destination; it’s about the journey” truly applies. Nobody knows where we are going, but Charles has never let us down yet and we are counting on another great day of riding and fellowship.
