The Beginning – Selma Children’s Home Toy Run – 2007

The Fellowship of Christian Riders actually began as a result of this ride. Beginning in 2001, our good friends from the Southern Crusaders for Christ began an annual “Toy Run” to benefit the children living in the Selma United Methodist Childrens Home.  On November 3 several riders from Frazer UMC joined up and rode together on the 2007 Toy Run. We enjoyed the ride and the fellowship and the idea of using our bikes to benefit others so much that we gained a longing for more of the same. That initial ride together was the seed that eventually grew to become FCR. These pictures are from that ride.
