Blessing of the Bikes – 2008

After learning about this type of service being held in other parts of the country and finding nothing else like it in Alabama, on April 26,2008 the Fellowship of Christian Riders started a new tradition in Central Alabama by hosting the first-ever River Region Blessing of the Bikes service.  This service is open to all bikers who want to begin the riding season with God’s blessing for a safe year of riding.  It is held in the Spring of each year and is open to all motorcyclists.  This tradition has continued and grows in popularity each year.
